Rhythm&Book: „Political (Im)balances“ with Nikolina Borčić

Last night, in the great atmosphere of Crni mačak, we held the final Ritam&Knjiga event of the season. Vlatka Kolarović talked with our guest Nikolina Borčić, connecting three books: Lars Svendsen’s latest, Trump and the Philosophers; The Light That Failed by Ivan Krastev and Stephen Holmes; and Nikolina Borčić’s book The Devil Is in the Detail.

The conversation covered language as the thread connecting politics, non-fiction, journalism and philosophy, how to bring philosophy closer to a wider audience, especially students, and how universities are responding to new trends among young people by introducing innovative programmes.

After the book talk, we announced upcoming projects and new titles, and the evening continued with Plazmatick’s excellent music.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Ritam&Knjiga again this year! For news about the new season, follow our website and social media.

This programme is supported by the City of Zagreb Office for Culture and Civil Society.
