Promotion of the book „Two Houses above the Sea“

Yesterday, May 21, in a packed Journalists' House, Dražen Lalić's book Two Houses Above the Sea was presented. The book's editor Hašim Bahtijari gave the introductory speech on behalf of the publisher, and in addition to him, the book was discussed by prof. dr. sc. Tvrtko Jakovina, prof. dr. sc. Vedrana Spajić-Vrkaš, prof. dr. sc. Dean Ajduković and, in conclusion, the author. The presentations emphasized that writing this book was a demanding job that required the reinterpretation and revival of the almost century-old history of the author's two families, but the author keeps this history within the framework of memory, does not call for its correction or settling scores, and unequivocally advocates reconciliation and living together in an environment that is constantly changing, and that is its great value. The surprise guests were members of the Kampanel a cappella group, who sang four songs.
