„A Book on Dalmatian Forsytes“

On Saturday, May 17, the „Magazine” of Jutarnji list published an article by Vlado Vurušić about the book Two Houses Above the Sea by Dražen Lalić, which we will present on May 20 at 7 PM at the Novinarski dom.

Vurušić, among other things, writes: “Lalić’s family chronicle reads more like a suspenseful novel, which shows how the great and dramatic changes that played with our region were reflected in the lives of the families there. The spirit and destiny of the Lalić-Baničević family were marked by political, historical and ideological changes in a certain time and space. While numerous characters from the distant past, great-grandfathers, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters, pass before our eyes, we constantly fear for their lives, their fates in these constant political-existential changes.”
