Snježana Vasiljević
Dr. Sc. Snježana Vasiljević, M. Phil. obtained her PhD at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb. She also graduated from the Cambridge University Law School, Darwin College. She is the winner of the American Chamber of Advocates Award for Best Work in sexual discrimination.
Vasiljević worked as an associate of UNIFEM and UNDP Croatia and, as a legal expert, was involved in the work of many non-governmental organizations. As a visiting scientist she specialized at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Faculty of Law, University of Liverpool, Johannes Koepler Univarsität Linz and Columbia University, Law School, New York. She has published a number of scientific and professional papers. Her professional interest are anti-discrimination law and human rights in the EU, European diversity and national identities in the EU. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights headquartered in Vienna.
