Frédéric Lenoir (1962, Madagascar) is a French philosopher, sociologist, writer and lecturer at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales.
Author of about fifty books, he has published numerous works in sociology and history of religions, but he is also part of a group of very well-known authors who, since the 2010, have specialized in the production of books dealing with the happiness or well-being. Since 2004 he has been the editor of Le Monde des religions magazine.
Some of his acclaimed works are Le Christ philosophe (2007), Petit Traité d’histoire des religions (2008), Comment Jésus est devenu Dieu (2010), Petit Traité de vie intérieure (2010), Dieu (2011.), Du bonheur. Un voyage philosophique (2013).
