Robert Blažević

Robert Blažević, PhD, is a retired tenured professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Rijeka. His research and teaching areas are primarily political sociology and public administration. He was the president of the Council and vice dean for scientific research at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. He founded the Administrative Study of the Polytechnic in Rijeka and from 1998 to 1999 was acting head of the study. He is a member of the Institute for Public Administration in Zagreb and a regular member of the Croatian Academy of Legal Sciences.
He published a large number of books, scientific and professional works. His most important books are: Political Government (1988), Political Orders and Legitimacy (1995), Administrative Science (several editions), Charisma. Political power and charismatic figures (2006), Legitimacy of political orders (2010), Stigma and charisma (2017) and Legitimacy, power and ideology (2020). He is the co-author of the book Local self-government (2020).
