Stephen Graubard

Stephen R. Graubard is a professor emeritus of history at Brown University. He studied at George Washington University and Harvard, and from 1961 to 1999 he was the editor of Dedalus, a journal of the American Academy of Arts and Science. His intense involvement in politics began in 1945, when Eleanor Roosevelt invited him to the last inauguration of Frank D. Roosevelt. Since then, he has met many of the closest associates of all the presidents who followed, and gained the knowledge and experience which he transposed into this book. He has written several important books, such as Kissinger: Portrait of a Mind and Mr. Bush's War: Adventures in the Politics of Illusion.
